We are fundraising to tackle isolation and loneliness with community and connection one breath at a time!

"Loneliness is far more than just a bad feeling—it harms both individual and societal health. It is associated with a greater risk of cardiovascular disease, dementia, stroke, depression, anxiety, and premature death. The mortality impact of being socially disconnected is similar to that caused by smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day, and even greater than that associated with obesity and physical inactivity. And the harmful consequences of a society that lacks social connection can be felt in our schools, workplaces, and civic organizations..." US Surgeon General

One in two Americans report feeling isolated. It's about the same worldwide.

Mind Oasis didn't start out as an organization committed to creating connection and community, but over the past six years, we have come to realize the inherent power of our organization goes way beyond delivering the timeless benefits of meditation worldwide. Mind Oasis brings people together in a safe space in community, where our joys, sorrows, and experiences can be witnessed. Yes, we meditate together, but the truth is we are here doing so much more.

Please support our quest to be a resource for travelers on this path called life who are tired, lonely, and isolated. Help us to keep the doors open and the lights on to this robust and meaningful community that brings us together in hope and inspiration, one breath at a time ⭕️ .

As a 501c3 nonprofit, Mind Oasis offers many free community-gathering opportunities each week live and online for anyone wishing to participate. We offer scholarships to anyone needing financial help to attend our signature program, Community Meditation. Every day we offer up inspiration and the opportunity to generate conversations in our online Meditation Center where the doors are always open. Bring a cup of tea or coffee and explore the stories, conversations, and many offerings designed to bring us together and to break down feelings of isolation.

Join us in your jammies from your home anywhere in the world that you have cell service or WiFi.

Please support these efforts with a gift of $100 or more this holiday season. We are looking for 100 people to invest $100 to keep the Meditation Center doors open as a warm and welcoming portal for anyone wishing to connect authentically.

"Given the profound consequences of loneliness and isolation, we have an opportunity, and an obligation, to make the same investments in addressing social connection that we have made in addressing tobacco use, obesity, and the addiction crisis." US Surgeon General
